Serena and Venus Williams’ childhood home is set go up for auction, according to TMZ Sports. The home, located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, was the place where the Williams sisters once lived with their father Richard Williams.
The house features four bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, as well two tennis courts. According to TMZ Sports, the house is estimated to be worth $1.42 million.
Also, the notice of sale states that the home will go to “the highest and best bidder for cash”.
Serena, Venus Williams teamed up for doubles at the US Open
In her final tournament, Serena decided to also play doubles with Venus.
After the Willliams sisters suffered a first round defeat to Lucie Hradecka and Linda Noskova, Serena’s singles run ended the following day after a three-set defeat versus Ajla Tomljanovic. After losing to Tomljanovic, Serena acknowledged the role Venus and her family played in her tennis journey and success.
“Thank you, Daddy. I know you’re watching. Thanks, Mom (tearing up)” Serena said after her final match. “Just I thank everyone that’s here, that’s been on my side so many years, decades. But it all started with my parents.
And they deserve everything. So I’m really grateful for them. These are happy tears, I guess ; I don’t know. And I wouldn’t be Serena if there wasn’t Venus, so thank you, Venus. She’s the only reason that Serena Williams ever existed, so, I don’t know.

During her appearance on The Tonight Show, Williams said that Tom Brady “set an amazing trend.” Brady, 45, retired from the NFL after the 2021 season, only to un-retire 40 days later. It remains to be seen if we will see Serena Williams play tennis again.
