- Roger Federer – hard court: 71 titles;
- Novak Djokovic – hard court: 64 titles;
- Rafael Nadal – clay court: 63 titles.
According to the ranking, Novak Djokovic needs to capture 8 more hard-court titles in his career to overcome Roger Federer’s record.
Djokovic’s next tournament is the Paris Masters. After that, Djokovic will play in the ATP Finals in Turin. Yet, Djokovic hasn’t only overcome Nadal in the “most titles on a single surface” ranking.
The winner of twenty-one Grand Slam titles scored a new win rate: 83.29% is the new win-loss ratio achieved. With the victory in the final in Nur-Sultan, Novak Djokovic reaches 83.293% of victories: 1022 career successes compared to 205 defeats suffered.
These numbers allow the Serbian tennis player to overtake Rafael Nadal in this ranking: an overtaking made on cents. The Spanish champion, in fact, is currently 83.281% of victories. The difference between the two tennis icons stands in the defeats, given that the Spanish tennis player has accumulated 214 in his career, nine more than the Serbian.
